Advances in Emerging Wireless Communications and Networking

The emergence of high speed wireless network technologies allows a cluster of devices to be linked together economically to form a distributed system. Wireless communications are playing an increasingly important role in such distributed systems. Transmitting sensor measurements and control commands over wireless links allows rapid deployment, flexible installation, fully mobile operation and prevents the cable wear and tear problem in industrial automation, healthcare and environmental assessment. Wireless networked systems have raised and continue to raise fundamental challenges in the fields of science, engineering and industrial applications, hence, more new modeling techniques, problem formulations and solutions are required.

The Special Issue on Advances in Emerging Wireless Communications and Networking targets to publish high-quality manuscripts on advances in the state –of –the -art of wireless communications and networking. Both theoretical contributions (including new techniques, concepts, and analyses) and practical contributions (including system experiments and prototypes, and new applications) are encouraged.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that present original and unpublished research in all areas related Emerging Wireless Communications and Networks. The general scope of the Special Issue includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Applications and performance analysis of Wireless Communication
  • Cyber trust and security
  • Distributed sensor networks
